Unforgettable Veneto Vacation

Last year I was in Italy. I have chosen Veneto region. I am a practical person and I like everything to be in order and well-organized. These very requirements I have for my holiday. So first of all I booked a room in the hotel. It was the Castel Brando hotel in Cison di Valmarino. I lived in the castle in the heart of the Prosecco hill. The hotel has a three-wellness center, three restaurants, several bars and a large 50 hectares park far away from the city noise. In the area there are many opportunities to sporting activities, as riding, golfing and canoeing. As I am keen on art and architecture I visited Abano Terme. The city museums are interesting and fascinating made in old buildings in the Roman style. In the city of Venice I made a promenade in the gondola and admired breathtakingly beautiful buildings. Saint Mark’s Square impressed me too. I enjoyed my holidays in Veneto very much and can add that it was almost perfect.

Honeymoon in Czech Republic

When I and my husband were going to marry, we decided that we'd spend our honeymoon in Czech Republic. We made up our mind to spend 14 unforgettable days on Lake Máchovo. We knew nothing about this place, we just liked its name. When we came there, we understood that the place was as beautiful as its name. There were many hotels, campgrounds and lakeside holiday homes, so we quickly chose the right lakeside cottage for us. During our vacation on Lake Máchovo we suntanned, fished, swam in the lake and did many other interesting things. I had never seen such beautiful pine beaches! And one day I and my husband rented a boat and made a wonderful trip to a beautiful island situated in the lake. On the island we saw the remains of the fable Mice Castle. It was an unforgettable. For the first time in my life I started to like mice. On the island they also offered to try Bungee Jumping. Of course, my husband used it as he is a thrill-seeker by nature but I couldn't… I can speak about my Czech vacation for hours but to put it in a nutshell I can say we spend 14 unforgettable days in Lake Máchovo and I hope that some day we’ll come back on holidays to Czech Republic again.Wink

Ski Holiday

The Dolomites are home to some of the finest skiing in Europe and to one of the largest interconnected ski regions in the world. The unique beauty of the majestic Dolomites is almost reason enough to visit this northern region of Italy but what brings the skiers is the snow. While technically not on the US West Coast, Alaska does provide some excellent skiing. Alyeska ski resort, near Anchorage, is the state's largest and offers fantastic, all-level skiing over a large area of terrain, and an awesome snow park for boarders. Alyeska has 68 ski slopes in total as well as 50kms of cross-country skiing in the immediate vicinity. The major air hubs in the USA are: Boston, New York, Washington, DC (and nearby Baltimore), Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Anchorage. From these airports, you can find connections closer to your resort. Winter activities, such as skiing, snowboarding, bobsledding or ice-skating can result in injury. Additionally, driving in unfamiliar surroundings or taking part in some of the many other outdoor sports available in the region can pose a danger. To have peace of mind during your holiday, we recommend you take out travel insurance for yourself and your family when visiting ski resorts in America. France is an incredibly diverse country boasting glorious cities and charming little towns, as well as landscapes of snow-capped mountains, rugged Atlantic coast and picturesque Mediterranean shores. The most dramatic mountainous region is the Alps, bordering Switzerland and Italy, and offering an array of exciting ski slopes. The Pyrenees are a mountainous region bordering Spain, also offering good skiing. July and August are the busiest times in Paris; however, there is time for Ski Holidays all year round at some resorts, with the busiest times from November to April.
